Wiseman died at his home. He is survived by her daughters - Martha and Ruth Wiseman.
Imdb.com reports that Wiseman is a unique name in both film and stage, and remained active on Broadway in recent years. In fact, his last role was on Broadway in a 2001 production of "Judgment at Nuremberg."
Wiseman also had many other great films to his credit, including "The Night They Raided Minsky's," "Detective Story" and "The Unforgiven".
