Out of Eight PC Game Reviews: Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Review

Once in a lifetime, a film is long, which defines a generation: a classic work of art that will stand the test of time and provide a record of achievements of a bygone era. I am of course talking about Starship Troopers. I mean, shooting bugs and Doogie Howser! Sign me up! Would that make a game great computer (actually, he has several sets of computer crap)? I know I need to satisfy my voracious appetite for shooting large insects, and Lost Planet: Extreme Condition seeks to achieve this desire.The Xbox 360 port makes its way to the PC platform above, how will it stack up against the oppression of tingling PC shooters? Obviously the best thing about Lost Planet is the graphics: they are outstanding. Everything in the game looks great, character models and environments bug for explosions. Watch your character turn his hips, instead of turning the whole body is treated (although most games are played in a first person perspective these days). The level of detail on the enemies is also done well: they seem very realistic and credible for insects drastically invaded.Even the level design, which takes place in the snow-covered decaying cities and villages, is superb. There are almost too much snow and smoke, making it difficult to see (probably by design). I can not comment on how DirectX 10 is that since I am not gullible enough to return to Vista. There are some problems small camera when you're against a wall, visible in the heat of battle (the first boss battle had me very confused right at the start).Oh, and if you have an Nvidia 8800 card like me, you'll need to download beta drivers or Lost Planet will crash, it is absolutely fantastic (* sarcasm alert *) for a game that has an NVIDIA logo in the introduction. Despite these minor problems, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition has a very real environment to play, and he is clearly one of those "benchmark" games....
